This server is the latest in a long line of solaris boxes. It has, over the years been:

• ultra2 (retired) when 36g sca were huge! Probably around 1998?
• big desktop sun thing (suicided) rather nice dual cpu. NRI era.
• ultra2 (resuscitated) to take over again.
• ultra 30 (died from dust bunnies)
• ultra 60 (retired) blazing hot 73g sca! Maybe 2003?
• netra x1 (retired) slow, noisy, but rock solid, still works, but not worth the noise.
• intel core2 box with 8g of ram and 1Tb of disks. very quiet. From 2008 Feb.

For all of these iterations, it has been running Zeus web server, which is a fabulous piece of software. Trivial to install and it just runs, and runs, and runs …

Manga.org has been floating around for ten years now. In that time, I have read a positively silly number of comics. I hope to introduce some of them.

Unless otherwise noted, these comics are in Japanese. While there may be English translations, I doubt I have read them. The economics of getting English versions of Japanese comics in Japan is just too painful to be worthwhile.
